Yes, but I'm not certain it's strictly about what you're referring to.

If it is, it's not been presented this way before, that I've seen. Previously, you never really knew what was truly 'refundable' and what that meant. Some refundable fares were not truly refundable. Even if you deep dived into the t&c's & fare basis, it still wasn't usually obvious.

This new presentation gives you a clear cut method to elect a travel credit for refund, or a return to original payment form, for the same price + a set additional $$ amount, when purchasing the ticket.
