Just because a mfr can use paid healthy subjects to rehearse then "demonstrate" a compliant 90 second exit time using 2 less doors, does not morally excuse them from saving $ by permanently blocking 2 exits that the factory provided.
Boeing does not use special subjects or rehearsals. In the 60's they did use mechanics and workers but now use visitors and there is no rehearsal. I was there on a business trip and was asked if I would participate. Also the operators are closing the door off because they are putting in LESS seats.
