I don’t believe in a minute that AS would dispatch an aircraft with a problem that they thought might endanger a passenger sitting in a specific seat, but that it would be okay with people sitting in the seats around it.
Ultimately neither do I, just that with only 7 empty seats on the plane , not just 26a but 26b being vacant got my attention.
