I was impressed with my ‘Finnair’ sector LHR-MAD, but then I do have a soft spot for the airline. The aircraft interior felt more spacious, the crew were comfortingly senior and had a certain Nordic elegance, the uniforms were quite glamorous, the service was very attentive and from my seat in 1F I could see the head CC polishing off a BA fry up, which pleased me greatly for some reason.
