xliioper linked, that question is addressed.
In short, if you used MQMs to extend DM status, you will get DM choice benefits for those extra years, but you will not get PM CBs unless you actually *earn* them by hitting the PM spend threshold each year. Incidentally, this is also true of the new MM rules for “lifetime annual” PM & DM.
What’s not clear right now is *when* you will get those CBs - especially in the case of multiple year extension. If they issue them on Feb 1 of each year, we could see the (currently impossible) scenario of getting the DM CBs many months before the PM ones.
