Maybe so, but can say that no one will ever want to sit in row 26 again. Or even the rows before or after. Its the new unlucky number. Airlines would probably be better served by just making it an exit row and charging for it at this point. I know if I was assigned this row, I am opting out and cancelling. Most flyers are not that sophisticated and most can not even tell the difference between different 737 models (especially after Boeing made it so confusing with -800 -900, -8, -9 and Max). Unless there is a major design flaw which will keep popping up in the news and flights keep getting cancelled, the incident will be forgotten in no time.
