Yes that's what I thought too, but ba.com is only showing me a very small selection of flights on any given day. And it doesn't even seem to be that it is offering me flights with redemption availability, just its random selection!
I assume if I call they will waive the offline fee....
If "they" have cancelled your flight, and you call, I am pretty sure that there is no fee to change, as you say, not all options are available on line, so you are forced to call to meet your travel requirements, as a result of
their cancellation.
