- 2 A330-200 were withdrawn from the fleet in recent months. The QR A330 fleet is now down to 10 aircraft from a 2022 peak of 14. The summer schedule indicates that more could be withdrawn.
- 2 Qsuite equipped 777-200LR were withdrawn from use. These were sold by the lessor to another lessor that was intending to convert them to freighters. Will be interesting to see if QR makes a deal to bring them back to the fleet temporarily like they did with A7-BBF.
- Only 3 more A359 coming back into service and a handful of 787-9 to be delivered in 2024. Considering that QR is growing in 2024 that won't leave many new aircraft to replace older ones.
- QR have 6 ex-CX 77W in service, the summer schedule for that configuration can be done with 4 aircraft. I don't know if it means two will be withdrawn or they just haven't finished assigning these aircraft.
- Some of QR's aircraft have been advertised by lessors as available in 2024, including those with newer products. Doesn't mean that they will leave.
- Former CEO indicated the 737-10 could make its debut at the end of 2024, but it looks like 2025 is more likely.

Considering the non-standard A330 without IFE, the A340 with other airline's interiors, the leased A350, the leased 77W. For much of the past 20 years they have had aircraft with inconsistent products. I hope the leadership prioritises brand integrity and consistency of the product over growth.
I just booked a trip to KUL which involves a 77W outbound (In several months from now) and was shocked to see it still shows the very old 2-2-2 configuration. Now of course, with QR I know the equipment for my specific flight may still well change several times, but more generally, is the intention to keep those old config 77Ws? If not, does anyone know when they are supposed to be refitted (hopefully with Q Suites)??
