The card gives status only, not nights. So qualifying still takes the same number of nights.

But one can also advance one level up from the status that comes with a card by a specified level of spend with that card: to Hilton Gold with $20K on the no-annual-fee Hilton AmEx, and to Hilton Diamond with $40K on the Hilton Surpass AmEx.
