Fast Track at Sydney
A small warning to to those leaving Sydney on the BA flight.
The BP of course says "Club World". It does not say "Business Class".
We cheerfully presented our boarding passes to the guardian of the fast track security line. He said he had been instructed that only the magic words "business class" would allow access and tried to send us to the ordinary line. I explained that Club is BA speak for business. He said access was limited to the words "business class" on the BP and words to the effect that he was only obeying orders. I stood my ground and asked him to get a supervisor. When she came she was at first very dismissive and said words to the effect that "there was no point in showing me any shiny cards - I'm not letting you in". I started repeating the explanation but she took my BP and told the operative that he should also look at the seat number - if it was clearly near the front of the plane he should let people through. If she was in charge of training him she was not doing a very good job.
There are many more important things n the world, but I thought it might be worth pointing out if BA16 travellers get grief.
