It's a decrepit dog of a hotel though in my experience.

I overnighted on my way to Malta in a room on the top floor - one wing was taped off with buckets placed under what was evidently a leaking HVAC system. When I closed the interconnecting door between the bedroom and living areas of my suite (not particularly forcefully) the entire door frame collapsed, the door shifted and foam insulation from the interior wall panel spilled out ont the floor. To cap it off when I plugged in the desk lamp the cable started to fizz, smoke and glow at the socket end.
