What time should I arrive at the airport with checked bags? I've read anywhere from 90 minutes to 3 hours. This is the factor when determining whether to stay at the Hilton at the airport or in the city.
I would aim to arrive between 6:15 and 6:30 a.m. Once we arrived much earlier thinking we would just hang out at the lounge, but the workers really don't even show up until 120 minutes prior, so there's no use getting there before them. It then takes them some time to get set up, perhaps rearrange the lines/corrals, and get the line moving.
