A huge line at recheck is weird given that it’s essentially a bag drop. Since it’s our home airport, have never used it…but also haven’t seen a line there. Maybe different when multiple wide bodies from Europe arrive at similar times.

have had really long immigration waits at “good” airports like YVR and HKG (and LAX pre Bradley redo), so it’s hard to gauge. We (including wife and son) all have GE so generally don’t think much about it, other than having to sometimes wait for bags to come out if we’ve checked bags.
