The poor IT around managing entry of ff#s has been annoying for some time.

I made an online booking for my brother and entered his AirNZ ff#. Later, we realised it’d be useful to open a TG ROP account so the miles he gets outbound he can burn in the lounge in BKK on a 7 hour layover.

A simple change from NZ to TG was not possible. Tried all the usual tricks with no success. The booking has a final QF sector MEL-AKL and perhaps that was problematic.
