Barring any unexpected activity, I'll have 585 lifetime nights at the end of this year, with a stay straddling New Year's Day. Assuming it's the same as this year, the 15 elite nights from the credit card will post on 01 January, putting me at 600 lifetime nights and qualifying me for Lifetime Platinum. So will I get points based on Gold or Platinum?

I'm not expecting any other status benefits for that stay, though I figure it can't hurt to ask the hotel about free breakfast or lounge access (if they have one) after I get the new status.
