Thanks c1223, it's really helpful to have a bit more background.

To be clear, I don't mind where we sit on BA0867 (provided one of us can be next to the little one), just as long as we're on it!

But it sounds as though we might not have been confirmed on this flight at all yet, and that we might not actually know until we get to BUD - or did I misunderstand?
