I am a SE. One question about the eupgrade nominess benefit for 2024.

My nominee for 2023 is still displayed. I thought the 2023 nominee's name would automatically disappear on Jan 1, 2024.
For the nominee, this is the statement:

Upgrade requests for the nominees appearing on this list must be completed before January 17 of every year.

Obviously the date of Jan 16 is the date that the 2023 eupgrade certificates expires.

So will my nominee's name disappear on Jan 17 and I can add perhaps a new/different nominee then.

What if I wanted to add a different person as a nominee now- can I do so? I can certainly deactivate the name of the 2023 nominee, but I am not certain that I can add the name of a person now for a 2024 nominee?
