a bit more worried though for my wife and other son a separate PNR given they may not be tagged to me? She’s only silver traveling and they are in PN. Though they do have assigned seats even after the downgrade killed their rows.
I would be shocked if a Silver gets involuntarily downgraded. There are typically plenty of non-status pax upfront that UA would presumably target first. You’ll have to let us know how this turned out.
