As usual, better critical analysis, professional opinions, and coverage than any news outlet could hold a candle to.

In the transcript here (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/35873044-post260.html), one thing that stands out to me is the phrase 'we have departure' that is being told to JAL on their approach for landing. I'll ask my pilot buddies when I get a chance, but what is this supposed to mean? I'm taking it as there is a plane on the runway that is departing, and then it's JAL that was at fault for not using that piece of information?
