Another option is taking a look at Condor's FRA route. Sometimes cheap Premium Economy and business can be had, which earns a lot of miles on AS. From FRA, you can fly to BCN or train to CDG. You may also purchase certain *A partner miles for short haul economy redemptions such as AC or AV. Another option is to use LCC out of nearby airports such as CGN, FKB, STR, HHN, etc.
Or check out some cheaper departure airports, sometimes out of HNL, OW will run sales to Europe in business in cheap.
Just keep in mind on Condor their J product on the A350 is great, but your 2nd flight out of FRA unless you have United or similar network status is in the back of the bus by the bathrooms!
