Here are my impressions of the Grayson - it’s not bad but not worth any sort of price premium over the nearby Hyatt Centric 39th:
  • Upgraded to an Empire View King on the 24th floor - no higher room types available online
  • View is good and even included 1 WTC
  • Bed is good - plush mattress, plush pillows (but why only 3?) - covers could be thicker
  • Shower pressure is fine, but the water holes are way too small - so the pressure feels way worse than it could have been had there been bigger holes
  • Internal noise isolation is terrible - even though I wasn’t next to the elevators, I could constantly hear the whistle of the elevators - had to sleep with white noise
  • Service was friendly for NYC
  • No issue with late checkout
  • See menu below for Globalist breakfast inclusions - not all entrees are included - enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, but didn’t think the coffee had a good taste (not very strong) - no check to sign, and service was efficient
  • No issue with the elevators, but they didn’t seem super busy

I would return depending on the price.
