Roses eh? We were usually a Quality Street home growing up - and After Eights too of course

Happy New Year to all on here. It's been a struggle trying to get back into the swing of things this week and work has been surprisingly busy for the first week of the New Year. I'll be in LA for work for a couple of days next week so that'll be the first flight of the year, on AA. I've also booked our annual Alaska trip. This time we're off to OME and OTZ and those flights will get me GFL. Next trip back to the UK is next month, coinciding with the Presidents' Day holiday. Flying AA from PHX and back from DUB as I want to "compare and contrast" their PE with BA's as - frankly - the last few trips with BA have been an utter shambles with service all over the place. The only benefit to flying BA is that it's a direct flight back to Las Vegas and we can then be through immigration and home within 30 - 40 minutes. However, the last couple of trips have been so thoroughly unenjoyable / miserable that I am seriously considering whether indirect routing back here is better for my sanity.
