I paid several thousands for a ticket with certain expectations and I be damned if I settle for less. BA doesn't with its fares and I will not for its services.
I totally get that, however if I was paying that amount for a fare then I would make sure that I either ordered a Special Meal to ensure I got something reasonable or I’d pay a tiny (relatively) bit more to book a specific seat to ensure that I was not last to be served.
Having said that, I know in CE they start at the front and work down the rows, so if food is that important then book a seat as far forward as possible, but I thought on LH Club they took everyone’s order and then worked it out back in the galley rather than row by row?
