Hi all. I've got separate tickets for AS SEA-SFO, then StarLux SFO-DAD (via Taipei) with a 12-hour layover in SFO.

My question (I'm not MVP or an AS CC holder): I'd like to check a bag all the way through from SEA to Danang, so I don't have to deal with it for both SFO and Taipei layovers. Will AS counter at SeaTac let me do that if it's not a single connected ticket from SEA to DAD? I could show them the StarLux booking, and if I read the AS site correctly, the bag check would be free because it's dictated by the rules of the international carrier.

Maybe I could call in to AS and get the tickets connected in the system somehow?
