Just wanted to chime in with an anecdote from AC 125 last night - I (lowly 25K) was #4 & Ms. koot (no status) was 5 on the list in the app with 8 seats open in J at 45 minutes to departure. My upgrade cleared into J and Ms. Koot disappeared, as far as we could tell - no longer on the PNR, [edit: not on the upgrade lists], no ticket in the app - from the flight altogether. Chatting with the gate agent we were able to get Ms. Koot into PY, but it took some time from their end to sort the booking out. Got an email today with a different PNR for her eupgrade confirmation, which shows up as an associated PNR in the cowtool. No biggie, in the grand scheme of things, but still weird... new year new bugs (first time for me, at least), I guess
