Only downside in FC: Seats are substantial and comfortable, and thick - so pitch seems a little lower for window pax to get in/out. Minor quibble - and I always select aisle anyway.
When I flew on the 14th ORD PHX, I had 2A reserved. However I boarded to find someone in that seat (and the purser told me the gate knew the issue and was supposed to page me of course). Apparently animal carriers won’t fit under the seats in First, at least not at all under the aisle. So they moved 2B to my seat. This was irritating but turns out the guy’s wife was in a window in 4 and I offered to swap. Crew gave me some bonus miles.
The pitch is tight when person in front reclines. The person in front of me in 3F had some trouble reclining so the purser sat down and reclined the seat, which is where it stayed the entire flight including the meal service which was a bit irritating. With that seat all the way back, and placing meal square on the tray, the monitor was touching food on the tray. So either hope nobody reclines during the meal or don’t try to use the monitor in the process (don’t swivel it up).
