Mindful that this thread, as we have been reminded, is about what takes place in the last rows of Club, I have nothing to contribute I am usually in Row 1. Thus I cannot know or care less what happens behind me as it is none of my business.
As a general question as most airlines do not carry double meals to cater for everyone - would they do better to offer one choice only as do AF (for example)? The everyone gets offered the same thing. Personally I think that the present system while not perfect if better than a total take it or leave it scenario if you do not or cannot eat what is on offer
