I've never been upgraded further so can't comment on the larger suites. Transport to/from the airport is free for globalists, but you need to arrange a pick up via email before your arrival. They will typically contact you a few days before your arrival. Never had a problem with this, altho they can be a bit late sometimes. I've always gotten a welcome gift (usually a bottle of mineral water and a local sweets sampler box and a small Mayan souvenir type item). Daily housekeeping is excellent, rooms are kept impeccably clean, staff checks daily for laundry service...
Breakfasts are excellent and the staff here are very friendly and helpful. For lunch and dinner, there are probably better options outside of the hotel, although I can't say I'm much of a fan of the local cuisine and in Z10 there is an abundance of US chain restaurants (PF Changs, Applebees etc) that are lousy and overpriced. The hotel was having a taco tuesdays dinner for awhile (not sure if this is still going on) that was pretty decent. Also, in the evening, the top floor restaurant is more popular than the downstairs.

Pecorino around the corner has decent Italian. Arrin Cuan, 1km away, has excellent traditional Guatemalan food.
Thank you for the recommendations and the details about the room! I'm excited to see this property for myself.
For a cat 2, it's a slamming deal! But if it weren't the end of the line for these TSUs, I probably wouldn't be using them. It is good for me to manage my expectations for further suite upgrades - but if a miracle does happen, I'll report back here!
