It has been a few years since I last booked a JAL flight on the BA site (2019), and I recall a headache of multiple phone calls and emails to get seats allocated. I did vow at the time not to book a JAL flight on BA's website again however right now it is cheaper than on JAL.
Has anyone had recent experience with booking a JAL flight as part of their itinerary on BA and being able to select seats in advance? Is it easier / more reliable now.
