Thanks for updating this, golfmad, the previous thread was becoming somewhat unwieldy!
As per m8_rotate above, there are a few things that were correct when dylanks made the original (and extremely useful!) thread but I think have changed now.

In terms of lounge access, this is a paste from the GGL benefits page, which, after many months of updating, BA seem to have finally got correct(!):

Extend the invitation to one guest when you’re flying with British Airways in any cabin, or two guests when flying in First, so they can relax or dine with you prior to take-off.

You can also take advantage of our exclusive Chelsea lounge at New York JFK Terminal 8 when you travel on a scheduled long-haul flight with British Airways, or a long-haul, transcontinental or international short-haul flight with American Airlines.

Likewise, a guest may join you when you’re flying with either airline, or two guests when flying in First with British Airways or American Airlines. (Passengers flying with other oneworld airlines are unable to access this lounge but can enjoy our other two lounges).

Gold Guest List Members travelling on British Airways flights, in any cabin, can enjoy our First Dining, Concorde Dining and ‘The Bar’ facilities with 1 guest.*

Our First or Concorde Dining is available at the following locations:
  • Boston (BOS), Newark (EWR), Washington Dulles (IAD), Johannesburg (JNB), Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and San Francisco (SFO)
And ‘The Bars’ will be available at:
  • Dubai (DXB) and Singapore (SIN)
Also, when travelling from London Heathrow Terminal 3 we invite you to visit the Concorde Dining lounge before you depart.

You can also invite up to five guests to join you in our other relaxing departure lounges (excluding the Concorde Room and the Chelsea lounge). Additionally, you can take up to five guests into our Heathrow Terminal 5 arrivals lounge if they have travelled with you on the same long haul flight.

*Accompanying guest must be travelling on the same British Airways flight with the eligible Gold Guest List Member and access may be subject to capacity on the day. Gold Guest List Members may invite 2 guests when travelling in First only. The proposition is limited to British Airways flights only. For other oneworld carriers, standard access policy applies.
1 area where I think we are agreed the above is slightly inaccurate is that when you are flying out of T5 on IB you are still able to access the CCR.
