Does anyone know what time the baggage drop/check-in desks open at LAX? We're arriving in LAX, on a separate ticket, 7 hours before our China Airlines flight and I just want to come to terms with how long we'll be sitting in the check-in area and waiting with our luggage rather than sitting comfortably in a lounge.
The Delta lounge is amazing in T3 and Skyteam J pax can use the Delta One checkin that is hidden away on the arrivals curb near TBIT and T3. You can’t check your bags there (i believe) but maybe you can access the lounge and the private security line while you wait for the CI desk to open especially if you already have your boarding pass. I’m planning on dropping my bags at CI check in and then walk down to the D1 area to clear security and use the Delta Lounge until departure to TPE tomorrow (and maybe AMEX if its still open). Haven’t been to the KAL lounge for some time but never want to go back especially since the airside connection is open between T3 and TBIT and its not that far of a walk, unless you’re flying from the 200 gates (KLM AF does and one decade will have their own lounge there)
