I bought a WiFi day pass in advance of flights twice now and ended up having it not work. I then had to repurchase on the flight and contact customer service afterward for a refund, which they gave me easily. It was super annoying. I do not plan to purchase a day pass ever again - I'll just buy it once on the plane.
Has anyone else had an issue when you connect to United WiFi that it logs you out of your United account (app and website) and then doesn't accept your password to log in? I had this happen once in November and then again on a different trip in December. It was especially frustrating on the second trip as I had forgotten to bring my United credit card with me so had to charge it to a different card that doesn't get the 25% statement credit.
