I thought it's against Air Canada's terms of service (and most airlines) to engage in anything similar to "Hidden City" itineraries?

Even if you get past the agent, you'll still be flagged after you've been deemed a no show - at least that's what I read on r/AirCanada

On another note - is there any way to remove an Aeroplan number from a booking without contacting Air Canada?
I know you can do it during online check-in, but is it possible to do it before then?
