We are arriving on a Delta-marketed, KLM-operated J flight into the TBIT, connecting to a DL F domestic flight from Terminal 3.

I've never flown either airline into/out of LAX. I have a few question, and hope to benefit from the insights of this community:

1. After being disgorged from Customs, is there a luggage drop at TBIT for my onward DL flight, or will we need to drag the luggage to Terminal 3?

2. If we need to recheck the luggage at Terminal 3, will we be able to use the Delta One checkin area? From my reading of the rules, I think so, but wanted to double-check with the local experts.
