Just following up on the Diamond Air meet and greet at LHR for BA flights:

So they have two websites: one for BA and their own. Prices aren’t any different. I couldn’t get their BA version to work during checkout, and just errored out. So had to use their main website.

Going through their website, it’s a painful process: create account, fill out a form of desired services. and wait for them to email you back in 6-12 hours, and email back and wait again to confirm services. They don’t invoice you on the confirmation email, and no other follow up email. I wasn’t sure if they were going to show up.

But they did. Super nice meet and greet; didn’t get a buggy and didn’t have to. Our flight from VIE was delayed, we met her at 9am from our VIE flight at T3, guided us to the bus transfer to T5, helped us skip security line, help us get on tram to B gates with efficient tips, and helped us skip the massive boarding line for our 10:10 departure flight to LAX.

We got to the gate around 9:45, and overall was worth it for a tight connection to meet the 40 minute LHR conformation time.
