Rigatoni pasta with aubergine was quite good and comforting. I didn’t try anything else (the cheese, crackers, rather lurid green starter, or the mince pie provided for dessert) since we’d eaten a big late lunch and tea before boarding. Photo also doesn’t show the bread rolls they passed round in a basket after serving the tray itself.

Jude’s ice cream bar /choc-ice for mid flight snack: nice idea. Not as solid an ice cream as Hagen Dazs (has more air whipped into it, and some added ingredients as well as milk and cream and vanilla) but a nice thing to provide in WT+. Do WT get it too?
