When I go to 'Spend my Avios' and try to upgrade, first of all I can only select 1 person in the booking (even though we are 2 people). Then when I try to upgrade I get an error that it looks like there are no available upgrades for my booking at the moment.
How is this possible?
Edit: regarding the option to only upgrade 1 person in the booking, I was just chatting with the QR whatsapp and they told me on my booking reference there is only 1 passenger, even though the e-ticket i received (and the price is paid) is for 2 people... Great job QR!
Quoting myself for the people who have the same problem in the future.
Whenever I tried upgrading with Qcredits I received an error message 'no available upgrades at the moment'. When I tried to upgrade with Avios it wasn't a problem and the upgrade went through.
I ultimately contacted QR via whatsapp and after an hour or so they managed to manually upgrade me with Qcredits.
So if you get an error that there are no upgrades available when trying to use Qcredits, it might be useful to contact customer service and see if they can do it themselves!
