The J cabin was full so the CSD couldn't move me to another seat. I offered to accept a voluntary downgrade to premium economy, or to come off the flight and wait for the next (I'm HBO and doors had not yet closed so that might be feasible) but CSD put me in the almost empty F cabin, telling me I'd be served last after they'd served both the J and the F cabins, that there'd be no F PJs, and that they'd bring CW menu and food to me in F (i.e. no F food, wine, service etc.) - as they did. Yesterday, the usual template email arrived from customer relations telling me they value me as a Gold member blah, blah...and offering 10,000 Avios. Is that enough? It doesn't feel right.
Effectively an upgrade to FLUB so I don't think you'll get more than 10k Avios. A stained seat isn't a non functional seat so had you remained in that seat (assuming it wasn't wet, or the stains weren't vomit or something grim) then I think even then you'd be lucky to see more than 20k offered.
