Slightly off topic from the OP, but your comment is a good segue to my question: is the $2.5K MQD boost for the DL AMEX Reserve only for this year, or is that going to be a yearly benefit? With the newly increased status thresholds, that will definitely be important to me in my efforts to retain PM going forward.
In the information I have read, it was implied by DL that the $2.5K boost will stick around.
Far more likely that Delta would raise all Medallion qualification thresholds by $2500 MQD as opposed to eliminating the boost. Keeps Amex happy that way too. Thus I think the boost is here to stay.
