While I wouldn't have been recording, yes, I would be waiting for crew instructions. Given this happened in Japan, where they know a thing or two about crowd control and passengers are more prone to listen and not panic, I'm not surprised that the evacuation was successful. Kudos to an obviously well trained crew.
