I think I heard elsewhere that any overland sectors I do on my own will count towards the total allowable number of flights. Is this true?! For example.. I fly from Sydney - Jakarta, then I go overland from there to Bangkok and continue my RTW flights from Bangkok.

I've read the rules on www.oneworld.com and the starfiles and don't see any mention of overland sectors.
