My confidence level is very low with regard to receiving any kind of resolution from the loyalty department's Member Support. And it is also low with regard to actually receiving an annual choice benefit, including the default 5 SNAs once 2023 year is closed out on or about January 7, 2024. Marriott IT's web site can't even do it when it explicitly says "You qualify for an annual Choice Benefit for staying 50 nights".
I have received assurances from a Marriott representative that someone was assigned to this issue and a subsequent follow-up email from a Marriott associate reassuring me that this would be resolved by week's end. So I feel a bit more confident about a possible positive outcome. Time will tell and I'll post a follow-up later this week/early next week with an update in the event anyone is interested in the outcome.
