Hilton IT can't even figure out how to show lifetime status achievement progress, so I wouldn't expect much more than what you are seeing today, which is a 2-3 week time period to move from one status year to the next.

Should members , especially if staying more than 100 or 180 nights in a year, be "waiting". Shouldn't Hilton know better?
Lifetime status - yup have to email or Tweet private to get a response. Response is quick. They know the info, they have good programmers, so it seems Hilton just doesn't want to provide it readily.
