Hilton vs Other programs. They all have Credit Cards, new memberships occurring (at various times during year, maybe more at year end but all have it). Why does Hilton's Tracking start earlier and end later , noticeably / considerably longer than Other programs? What's unique to Hilton vs Others?

Well, if Hilton would provide the Procedure / steps and some progress meter, would be helpful / set ming at ease / etc. Of course, with a shorter process, no need to provide a meter, etc.
Computers don't sleep, take weekends off, programs created can be started at a specific date/time or someone presses the "enter" key to commence. ..and if doing for years could shorten / reduce time.
Unfortunately you are just going to have to wait. This is a long process. Sometimes it lingers into the second week of January. Hilton IT can't even figure out how to show lifetime status achievement progress, so I wouldn't expect much more than what you are seeing today, which is a 2-3 week time period to move from one status year to the next.
