A lot is down to historic decisions about forum structure etc. If you look at the Hyatt home page - https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyatt-world-hyatt-418/ - then 80% of threads are master threads on specific properties. It looks more like an index of reviews rather than a general Hyatt discussion board.
