I suspect a deal may have been done with Diptyque for these as part of the amenity kits package when those were brought in. I'm not a fan either and never use them (seems incredibly wasteful to me, in addition to not being as nice as the actual towels). These are probably not going away for a while yet but perhaps QR receiving a critical mass of feedback via the website might sway their next decision back the other way?
