Booked cheapest, received One King Bed Suite

How are the rooms?

Nice modern suite, clean and spacious, lots of table space, everything worked fine. Bathroom separate from toilet room, sinks in both.
Bedroom window faced the corridor, and the room was about 6 steps higher, so weirdly you could see the heads of people walking outside at floor level.

How is the exec. lounge?
No lounge. Diamonds offered 15% off in restaurant and bar (all other IHG members offered 10% off)

What was good and what was bad?
Good: great upgrade, food was excellent and prices not inflated (similar to restaurants even without diamond discount).

Bad: got DCCd plus card surcharge when paying with a non-AUD card, but it was only 1% more than it should have been.
Windows could open vertically but the pane would drop back down and there didn't seem to be a way to keep them open.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
I only stayed here as my house was not ready to move in. Very reasonable price of about A$200 per night, but I chose dates where the rate was low. If it had been more expensive I would have stayed elsewhere.
