They can stick with Diptyque, but should change the scent.
For example, Mandarin Oriental Marrakech uses Diptyque products. but chose a much more subdued scent for all of their products.

Feedback from my Mrs Atticus is that is smells like Harrods on a busy shopping day or the Club Lounge at the Intercontinental London Park Lane during the summer months.
