I suspect a deal may have been done with Diptyque for these as part of the amenity kits package when those were brought in. I'm not a fan either and never use them.
They can stick with Diptyque, but should change the scent.
For example, Mandarin Oriental Marrakech uses Diptyque products. but chose a much more subdued scent for all of their products.
Will be much more appealing for the masses.
