If the plan is to drive paid tickets to other airlines as well, it's working. Not being able to see the Alaska flights I want on the new site (now plenty of AA flights!) will mean the end of flying Alaska for me if they get rid of the old search. I already have skipped a few flights with them due to the frustration of trying to get to the old site each time.
Especially disappointing I've mentioned this several times to them over the last year or two and not a single "thanks for the feedback" let alone "we'll try to get this fixed ASAP."
